The Garden Grow snail collar and tomato auto waterer does exactly that. Simply push the collar into the soil around the young plants at the time of planting. Each clear plastic collar will form a reservoir to reduce water run-off, ensuring that your plants are consistently fed and watered, and avoiding inconsistent cropping and damaged fruit. The design of the collar also means that snails cannot manage to climb up and over the lip and so cannot get to your plants, especially important when they are young and tender.
