Nikwax TX Direct Wash In is designed to add durable water repellency to breathable waterproof clothing. It helps renew the ability of outer fabrics to shed water and supports the breathability needed for comfort in wet conditions. The wash in formula is suitable for use in a washing machine or by hand. Once applied, the treatment develops on air drying, reducing the need for heat based drying methods. This helps maintain the performance of garments by preventing the outer fabric from absorbing water. The product is non flammable and PFAS free. It provides a flexible water repellent treatment on the fibers of the fabric, allowing moisture vapor to pass through while reducing water uptake. The application process ensures the treatment reaches the entire garment, including seams and trims. Nikwax TX Direct Wash In is intended for breathable waterproof clothing and supports consistent performance during outdoor use by helping keep the outer fabric water repellent.
