Swell Terrarium Moss is a natural Sphagnum moss substrate that is ideal for boosting humidity in your terrarium. This 100g compressed moss brick looks just like chipboard, but magically expands to about four or five litres of carpeting moss when soaked in water. A moss terrarium is very beneficial as the moss grows and absorbs waste materials to gain key nutrients. Sheet moss like this thrives in direct sunlight, making it ideal for reptile setups, and it will blend seamlessly with other mosses like Java moss, Fern moss and even aquatic moss.All of the Sphagnum moss in this range offers the same benefits to your terrarium and other plants, however, we offer it in two colours green and natural. The natural colour is sphagnum moss as it appears in the wild, a little faded and brownish, it's a good choice for a natural enclosure with lots of natural decor. On the other hand, the green colour is moss that has been specially treated to be a brighter green colour, making it more eye-catching and vibrant, ideal for a less natural and more colourful enclosure.
