B-17G Flying Fortress Man O™ War II (1:72 Scale) Boeing Licensed Product Original Aircraft The Boeing B-17G Flying Fortress was the final and most heavily armed variant of the iconic WWII bomber. Man O War II served with the 91st Bomb Group, 8th Air Force, flying from Bassingbourn, England. Equipped with a chin turret and enhanced defensive armament, it completed 76 combat missions before being shot down by enemy fighters on November 2, 1944.
